Ben grew up in Worthington, Ohio and attended Thomas Worthington High School before attending the University Of Cincinnati for Electronic Media. He spent over 10 years in restaurants, both as a cook and in management until making the full time jump into cheesemaking with his family in 2011.
Ben enjoys the creativity as well as the systematic nature of cheesemaking. At home he enjoys his time spent with his wife and his undiciplined dogs - Little blue-eyed mutt Emma, crazy Kentucky mutt Annie and big friendly doofus Dexter. He also enjoys performing and recording music, and embarking on various photography and design projects.
